At Worlds Collide, WWE veteran and former Tag Team Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr. made his first appearance in the company in 14 years. The 54-year-old was seen sitting at ringside and was also acknowledged during the broadcast.

Guerrero's final bout for the now Triple H-led company was a Six-Man Tag Team Match when he teamed up with Darren Young and JTG against the team of Yoshi Tatsu, Conor O'Brian, and Vladimir Kozlov on NXT in a losing effort. Shortly afterward, he was released from the Stamford-based company.

At Worlds Collide, Guerrero appeared on WWE programming for the first time in over a decade. He has appeared for TNA, Lucha Underground, Ring of Honor, and AEW.

Worlds Collide has featured multiple top names from both companies. Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio also returned to WWE programming for the first time in weeks, as he addressed the fans during the show's opening segment.
Later in the night, Rey's son, Dominik Mysterio, appeared with his on-screen girlfriend, Liv Morgan. Dominik was involved in a huge brawl with Octagón Jr., setting up an Intercontinental Championship match between the two for the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
Superstars including Stephanie Vaquer, Lola Vice, Chik Tormenta, and Dalys are among the few names who appeared at the show.
