A 55-year-old former WWE Superstar has refused to retire. He recently revealed that he's still wrestling here and there.
Gene Snitsky has revealed that despite the issues he's suffered surrounding his health, he fully intends to continue his in-ring career. The Ruthless Aggression Era star is a familiar name for most WWE fans, who have seen his memorable feud with Kane and Lita in the mid-2000s.
Snitsky recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet and revealed that he was not retired yet. He said that he still wrestles here and there. Snitsky went on to talk about how he had been dealing with a meniscus issue, and he got shots in his knee with a stem cell treatment for it. He said that he'd been to an institute in Maryland, where they helped him with it.
The 55-year-old admitted that while he didn't know the science behind it, he had been having much better workouts since the procedure.

"No, I still wrestle here and there. I just got stem cell shots in my knee though, on March 29. I've been dealing with a little bit of a meniscus issue. So I went down to the great people at Lifemed Institute in Maryland, and they gave me an injection with that and did some vitamin infusion with the wife. It's freaking amazing, that stuff. I don't know the science behind it but I've had the best freaking workouts the last few weeks since I went down there."
The former WWE star was on a show last year with Chelsea Green
Gene Snitsky has not been a part of WWE programming for some time, but he did have a backstage appearance on RAW in November 2023, where he was seen with Chelsea Green. He told Green that it was not his fault she lost a Battle Royal.
This was in reference to his catchphrase, "It wasn't my fault," which he used in his infamous feud with Lita and Kane back in 2004. The angle involved a miscarriage and is still remembered by fans today.
