Ivar has been one of the most vicious men in the WWE. He and Erik have been a dominant tag team. However, the latter's injury affected the Viking Raiders. While WWE tried to push Ivar as a singles competitor, he hasn't been able to get over without his tag team partner. Ivar even made a couple of appearances on NXT in recent weeks. His last match was on the April 30 edition of NXT, where he lost to Oba Femi.

Tonight on SmackDown, DIY was set to face A-Town Down Under for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Ahead of the match, DIY cut an emotional promo by saying they would win the tag titles.
It didn't take long for Ivar to take to social media and react to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa with the eyes wide open emoji.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
