WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce delivered a message to his social media followers ahead of tonight's show in Sunrise, Florida. His post featured rapper and part-time pro wrestler Bad Bunny, who has been absent for 471 days.
Bunny has not appeared on WWE television since beating Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at last year's Backlash, which took place on May 6, 2023.
On the other hand, Pearce has been having a hard time controlling some of his stars, such as Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, on the red brand. It has led to fans questioning his position as RAW General Manager after Reed destroyed Seth Rollins and R-Truth in the past two weeks.
The 46-year-old authority figure shared an image with Bad Bunny on Instagram and captioned it with a three-word message.
"Love somebody today," he wrote.
In response to his critics, Adam Pearce also announced the official complaint hotline for WWE RAW on his social media accounts.
Adam Pearce reveals how he got signed by WWE
In an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet earlier this month, Adam Pearce was asked about how he got signed by WWE. The former NWA World Heavyweight Champion revealed that he received a phone call from a ''gentleman'' at the Sports Entertainment juggernaut regarding a tryout in 2012.
"I got a phone call from a gentleman who I highly respect, and I won't name his name because I don't know how he would feel about that. But he posed the question to me. This was in 2012. He said, 'Hey, man, if I told you that I think I could get you a job that you could have for the next 25 years, but it meant you'd never put your boots on again, what would you say?' And I said, 'When do I start?'" Pearce said. [H/T: CVV]
Notably, Pearce made several appearances in WWE during the late 1990s as an enhancement talent. He returned to the promotion in 2013 but was not signed to any contract. The 46-year-old officially signed a full-time deal in May 2015 to work as a trainer at the Performance Center and producer in NXT.
The veteran became an on-screen authority figure for RAW and SmackDown in 2020. He was promoted to the position of RAW GM in October 2023.
