Adam Pearce has been around the wrestling business for decades. He is now a household name as the General Manager of WWE RAW.
Like many current superstars, there are scammers online who have used his likeness to claim money from fans. It seems that despite several warnings to their fanbases, the issue has not stopped.
Ahead of SmackDown, Pearce has taken to his Instagram account to once again send a message to fans to make it clear that they should stop giving money to people online.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
It is much harder to see which profiles are the correct ones on X now that many can pay to have a blue tick. So this could be the reason why so many people are still being fooled by fake accounts.
Adam Pearce isn't the only WWE Superstar who has been targeted
While Adam Pearce has made it his mission to try to stop his fans from being scammed online by these fake accounts, he isn't the only current WWE Superstar who has had their identity taken and used in order to scam wrestling fans on social media.
In the past, the likes of Seth Rollins and Alexa Bliss have become wrapped up in this controversy as well. Rollins was famously attacked by a fan on RAW who believed that he had scammed him out of money, but it wasn't the real Rollins.
Alexa Bliss has spoken out about the issue several times and has been targeted by several fans using her image to try to claim they are her.
It seems that no star is safe, which is why Adam Pearce has sent out this message to push for WWE fans to refuse to send any money to any of these accounts in the hope that the scams will stop.
