WWE has thrived under Triple H's creative regime for a while, and the company has taken a few drastic decisions in 2025. Today, The Game addressed WrestleMania 42's future, with the show set to return to Las Vegas next year.
The relocation of WrestleMania 42 from New Orleans earlier this year marked a significant change. After weeks of rumors and reports, it was indicated that The Showcase of Immortals will return to Las Vegas in 2026.
During the Money in the Bank premium live event, a vignette was aired for the event's return in Nevada. Today, Triple H addressed the event's future and tweeted its return to Las Vegas, as WWE will host WrestleMania 42 on April 18 & 19, 2026. Here's what he had to say:
"WrestleMania 41 was the most successful WrestleMania in history. We shattered every record, from attendance to viewership. So, we're running it back to the sports and entertainment capital of the world. It's time to double down, Las Vegas. WrestleMania returns in 2026. Are you ready?" Triple H said.
Triple H was asked about WrestleMania 42 at WWE Money in the Bank 2025
Earlier this year, The Rock appeared on Friday Night SmackDown and announced New Orleans as the host for next year's WrestleMania.
While everything was in place, the event got cancelled, and Money in the Bank 2026 will take place in the city instead, set to take place in late August 2026. When the news initially broke, rumors circulated that the company had plans to host another WrestleMania in Las Vegas, which was ultimately confirmed.
During the Money in the Bank press conference, Triple H was asked about the ongoing controversy around WrestleMania, and here's what The Game said about Las Vegas.
"Hard for me to say what the number one decision was, but I think, just the event itself. Vegas, the entertainment capital - to be able to go back in there. It's built for the stuff we do. To be able to go there a second time, the things that we learned this time, how we handled the week there, and everything else, this one will be even better," Hunter said.
It'll be interesting to see what the company has in store for the fans for next year's event.
