Asuka defeated Stephanie Vaquer, Ivy Nile and Raquel Rodriguez in the first round of the Queen of the Ring Tournament. She received a helping hand from Rhea Ripley, who attacked Rodriguez and hit her with the Riptide, allowing the former multi-time Women's Champion to pin the Judgment Day member and secure her spot in the semi-final.
Asuka will face Alexa Bliss in the semi-final of the Queen of the Ring Tournament. They will cross paths on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Interestingly enough, Asuka and Bliss also held the Women's Tag Team Championships together.
