Hot on the heels of Michael Cole mentioning Hulk Hogan during last night’s Roadblock: End of the Line pay-per-view, TMZ is reporting that none other than WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is in favour of the Hulkster being forgiven by WWE.
The former six-time world champion stated in a video interview that he believes everyone deserves a second chance, including Hulk Hogan.
In the interview, Booker spoke of his time in prison and brought awareness to the fact that if he hadn’t been offered a second chance then he wouldn’t be in the position that he was in today. Booker said:
“Hulk Hogan, he made a mistake; every man deserves a second chance. If he gets back in, I’m gonna support him 100% because I remember being that kid in WCW, and he supported me 100%”
The rumours of Hulk Hogan returning to the WWE aren’t new.
Just last month Hulk’s daughter Brooke told TMZ that people her father had been receiving calls regarding an appearance at WrestleMania 33, and whilst this has neither been confirmed or denied by WWE you can never say ‘never’ in the wacky world of professional wrestling.
Hogan has been persona-non-grata in WWE since 2015 when the Hulkster was involved in a racism scandal that stemmed from his sex tape lawsuit with online magazine Gawker.
Hogan sued Gawker for violation of privacy, a lawsuit that ended with the website being forced to pay Hogan $140 million in damages, although the two parties eventually reached a settlement of $31 million.

The lawsuit saw conversations leak that Hogan believed were private, conversations that saw the 12-time world champion use racist language in an anti-black rant.
This led to WWE cutting all ties with the Hall of Famer, including removing all references to him on the WWE website, removing all of his merchandise from the WWE store and even removing his entry from the WWE.com Hall of Fame page.
Hogan quickly apologised for his words and actions, and despite a number of wrestlers coming out in support of Hulk, WWE are (rightfully, in the opinion of many) yet to soften their stance with regards to the former face of the company.
Two mentions of Hulk Hogan’s name in two nights doesn’t seem like it could be a mere coincidence, however, and if there is one thing we have learnt from the history of WWE it would be that nothing is ever truly coincidental.
