Charlotte Flair shares major update amid WWE return rumors

Multi-time women's champion Charlotte Flair recently shared a major update amid rumors of her potential WWE return. Flair delivered a seven-word message on her social media account, referencing several aspects of her career, but most notably she hinted at returning from her injury.

The Queen has been out since December when she suffered a significant knee injury. She underwent surgery in early January and has been updating her fans on her recovery. There were rumors about the potential plans for her return but she has reportedly not been cleared yet by WWE's medical team.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Charlotte shared an image of herself sipping a drink and wearing a collared shirt in the comfort of her home. She also teased her return by giving an update on her injury. She stated that The Queen was waiting and to "bend the knee," quite blatantly hinting at her injured knee and indicating that was had finally healed.

"Your queen is waiting— BEND THE KNEE," she tweeted.

At the age of 38, Charlotte Flair is still in her prime although her injury was significant considering she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. It's also the first major injury of her legendary career, so she will need to take all the time she needs to make a full recovery.

What are the rumored plans for Charlotte Flair's return?

Charlotte Flair was feuding with Damage CTRL when she suffered her knee injury back in December. It will be interesting to see if she would want revenge on the group considering the group is on RAW now and they seemingly turned babyface plus Asuka and Dakota Kai are currently injured as well.

According to Fightful (H/T Wrestling Headlines), there were reports about inserting The Queen into a feud against Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. Jax also teased about the potential rivalry against The Queen but there are no concrete plans for return since she's not been medically cleared.

At this point in her career, Charlotte no longer has something to prove although there are still some dream matches for her. She hasn't had a major match against stars like Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.
