WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has been in a brief feud with The Judgment Day before. He faced the heel faction in a WarGames match at the 2023 Survivor Series as well. Recently, however, he claimed that he was convinced that a member of the heel faction, Finn Balor, needs heavy monetary compensation.

Finn Balor has been one of the first members of the faction. At the inception of the faction, he was the one who took out Edge and inserted himself into the picture. Balor eventually ended up getting frustrated with Damian Priest and betrayed him to cost the latter the World Heavyweight Championship.

Speaking on the latest episode of the FLAGRANT podcast, The American Nightmare talked about The Elite and The Bullet Club. Notably, the former is a faction in AEW and the latter is the infamous NJPW stable founded by Balor as Prince Devitt back in 2013. The legendary stable has had several notable members like Rhodes, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and many more.

The faction is active to this day, with David Finlay leading it as its seventh leader. According to Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor deserves millions of dollars for creating the group and its logo, both of which have acquired legendary status over time.

“I have to shout him out for the [Bullet Club] logo, it’s Finn Balor. He is probably owed millions of dollars for the success of Bullet Club. He started it and I don’t think he’s ever seen any of that [money],” said Rhodes. [35:03 - 35:13]

Finn Balor is not happy with The Judgment Day

While the glorious Bullet Club is thriving even after 11 years since its creation, Finn Balor doesn’t seem to be happy with The Judgment Day. The former Universal Champion took the reins of the faction in August after betraying and kicking out Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. However, The Punisher’s accusation that Balor is a jealous man seems to be coming true.

Last week on RAW, Dominik Mysterio acquired a chance to get a title shot against World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther. Notably, Dirty Dom had stepped up for the job when The Prince was worried about The Archer of Infamy getting a title shot. Carlito got down to business and arranged a match for Dom with Adam Pearce to get him in the title race instead.

Surprisingly, Mysterio clinched a victory against Priest via the help of The Judgment Day and satisfied Pearce’s condition of beating a former world champ. However, Finn Balor neither came out to help him nor did he seem very happy about it despite pretending to rejoice in Dom’s victory and congratulating him.

He took JD McDonagh to the side and asked his fellow tag team champion why he helped Dom when they should be focusing on defending their title. He didn’t hide this disagreement with JD helping Mysterio when Liv Morgan asked him if everything was okay either.

It will be interesting to see if Balor can keep his jealousy over the World Heavyweight Championship in control to keep The Judgment Day together.
