Cody Rhodes came out on RAW tonight to save an ally of his, only to realize afterward that his ally would now be in his way, standing across the ring for the first time. The match was made official for next week.

This week on RAW, fans saw a Fatal Four-Way match in the main event. Jey Uso faced off against Sheamus, Rusev, and "Big" Bronson Reed in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. The Yeet Master emerged victorious after several interferences from stars like Penta and LA Knight. An infuriated Seth Rollins came out to take out Jey Uso, but Cody Rhodes made the save.

Before an attack could happen, Cody Rhodes had a confrontation with Seth Rollins before going face-to-face with Jey Uso, whom he will face for the first time ever next week on RAW in the King of the Ring semi-finals.

Next week, we'll be seeing crucial semi-final matches on RAW. On the men's side, we have The American Nightmare facing the former World Heavyweight Champion, along with a huge Women's clash between Roxanne Perez and Jade Cargill. Randy Orton and Sami Zayn are in the other bracket, while Asuka will face SmackDown's Alexa Bliss.

Rhodes and Jey Uso are great friends and former tag team partners, but all of that will be put aside next week when a big first-time clash happens.

Rollins and Rhodes teased going back at it again, while LA Knight may also have a bone to pick with Mr. MITB.
