Congratulations to WWE champion Tony D'Angelo after huge personal update

WWE NXT North American Champion Tony D'Angelo has every reason to celebrate at the moment. After his incredible defence of his title last night against Shawn Spears, the star has now shared an even better personal life update.

D'Angelo has not been at 100% in recent weeks but he was still able to retain his NXT North American Title. The star defended against the brutality that Shawn Spears brought to the match and survived the attacks on his already injured knee from the star. The fact that Spears was targeting his knee became obvious over the course of the bout, and was locked into a Figure Four Leglock to be damaged even further. At the end of the day though, he was able to hit the Spinebuster to show that he had what it takes to retain the title, no matter what the odds.

Taking to Instagram, D'Angelo announced that he was now married to his real-life partner, Isabella Borini. With a simple caption saying, "Mr. and Mrs. Donm! Salud" he announced his marriage to his family, friends, and the WWE Universe as a whole.

After the last match, D'Angelo was ambushed by Spears and Brooks Jensen. Also attacking him was Niko Vance, a star who recently debuted. He was beaten down before the three of them had a confrontation with Adriana Rizzo.

After the attack on NXT, and having announced his real life marriage, it's assumed that D'Angelo will be taking some time away from the ring to celebrate his life update. At this time, it's uncertain when the WWE star will return to the ring.
