Congratulations to WWE Superstar The Miz  

The Miz is one of the most prominent WWE Superstars of all time. The A-Lister is also active outside the squared circle and has even featured in numerous movies and TV shows. His contribution to society was recognized back in 2019 as the former Intercontinental Champion was honored with a key to Parma city.

The Key to the City is an honor a city presents to its esteemed residents and visitors. Multiple WWE stars have been bestowed with his honor, including LA Knight, who recently got the key to his hometown of Hagerstown, Maryland.

The Miz, who has already had a Hall of Fame-worthy career, added another feather to his cap after he was presented with the Key to Parma, the city he was born in. The A-Lister recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of this honor with a post on social media:

"Happy Mike The Miz Day, Parma. If anyone needs the key to the city, I got it. #216."

The Miz lost the World Tag Team Championships on WWE RAW

The Miz is one of the most decorated wrestlers of the current generation. The star won his latest title at WrestleMania 40 where he and R-Truth captured the RAW Tag Team Championships that were later repackaged as the World Tag Team Championship.

However, the duo lost the gold to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on WWE RAW a couple of weeks back. Liv Morgan played a huge role in the outcome as she distracted R-Truth, allowing Balor to capitalize.

The former WWE Champion was furious after the loss as he wanted to head to his home state for SummerSlam 2024 with gold around his waist:

"SummerSlam is in my hometown. It’s in Cleveland, Ohio. Do I think that we’re gonna go back to Cleveland Browns Stadium ever? Probably not. This might be my one shot, the one opportunity, the one chance to be at the place where I grew up as a child, and I thought we were gonna go there as tag team champions. But now we don’t have those," Miz said. [H/T Fightful]

However, R-Truth assured his partner that they will reclaim the title at SummerSlam. He went on to extol the magic of The Awesome Truth, and told him they would create another 'Moment' at SummerSlam in Miz's hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.

The Miz reunited with R-Truth earlier this year. The duo had a lengthy feud against The Judgment Day which eventually ended with them taking away the tag title from the heel faction.
