Ever since Ethan Page arrived in NXT, it's been clear that he is a main-event star. He immediately found himself in the NXT Championship picture and even won the title at NXT Heatwave 2024.
He held the title briefly but eventually lost it to Trick Williams on the October 1, 2024, episode of NXT. This only upset Page further, who has since been on a mission to regain the title.
He earned another title shot against Trick Williams tonight on NXT Halloween Havoc. Williams showed his toughness by rallying through the match despite potentially suffering internal bleeding. He still managed to pick up the win over Ethan Page.

However, Trick didn't have much time to celebrate as he was ambushed from behind by Ridge Holland. Page confronted Holland before they started working together. Page sent Trick towards Holland, who hit his signature Redeemer on the NXT Champion. Luckily for Trick, Bully Ray came down to the ring to help him out.
It looks like Ridge Holland has made it clear that he wants a shot at the NXT Championship.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
