Current champion demands title shot against Gunther for recent "help"

A current champion on WWE RAW confronted Gunther. This star demanded a title match against The Ring General.

Finn Balor has been feuding with Damian Priest since he cost the latter the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. The two men faced each other in a match, but the Archer of Infamy came out on top.

Damian Priest moved on to challenge the Ring General for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series: WarGames. However, Balor showed up and attacked his former stablemate. The Ring General saw this and kicked Balor. The champ then picked up the win and retained his title, but he was frustrated that he was not able to defeat Priest by himself.

Tonight on RAW, Gunther was being interviewed by Cathy Kelley when Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio interrupted him. The World Tag Team Champion told the Ring General he owed him a title shot since he helped him beat Priest.

The Ring General told him that he didn't ask for help and wanted to beat Priest on his own, but Balor ruined this. The World Heavyweight Champion then asked Dominik why he looked so confident and reminded Balor that his Judgment Day stablemate beat Priest, something Finn could not do.

The Ring General then informed Dominik that he deserved an opportunity and said he would speak to Adam Pearce.

It looks like The Ring General will speak to Adam Pearce tonight about setting up a match with Dominik Mysterio.
