WWE Superstars Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor have recently had a lot of visible tension between them. After this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, one-half of the World Tag Team Champions, JD McDonagh has sent an update of the status between Dom and The Prince.
Finn Balor is trying to establish himself as the man leading The Judgment Day after the faction kicked out Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. However, ever since Dominik Mysterio defeated The Punisher, he doesn’t really seem to take The Prince’s word on everything. Moreover, the heel faction has previously claimed that they don't have a leader and were a family, so Balor can’t directly enforce his authority either.
As a result, Dirty Dom and the former Universal Champion have eyeballed each other instead of being on the same page backstage. Moreover, Balor has actively asked JD McDonagh not to help Dom and to focus on defending their tag titles instead. After this week’s successful title defense against The War Raiders, JD posted an image and sent a message on Instagram, shedding light on these tensions.
“All good in the hood. Judgment Day is one big happy family!” he wrote.
Dominik Mysterio helped World Tag Team Champions despite previous Finn Balor insult
While the anger, frustration, and jealousy are tangible from Finn Balor’s side, Dominik Mysterio doesn’t seem to have any problems with the crew’s dynamic. Ahead of their title defense against Erik and Ivar, The Prince mocked Dom and Carlito for failing to defeat The War Raiders last week.
Balor also added that despite their loss, he didn’t see it as something bad, and said that Lito and Dom had “softened” the challengers for him and JD. Despite these words being thrown at him, Mysterio didn’t hesitate to help his teammates and also saved the match by breaking a pinfall using the ropes.
Thus, while Balor is using the words “big happy family” as a disguise, Dominik Mysterio actually believes in it. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Judgment Day.
