Damian Priest meets Jacob Fatu backstage but there's a huge twist on WWE SmackDown

Damian Priest met Jacob Fatu backstage tonight during WWE SmackDown, but there was a twist. Things didn't go exactly as planned.

Earlier in the night, Jacob Fatu distracted Jimmy Uso during his match against JC Mateo. Unfortunately, that ended with Mateo hitting Fatu instead, accidentally, and then suffering a loss thanks to the distraction, with Jimmy Uso picking up the win at the end of the day. While Jimmy received an offer to join a stable, things didn't turn out as planned.

Backstage after the match, Jacob Fatu found himself confronted by Damian Priest. The star told Jacob that he would be coming after the United States Championship. Fatu responded that he would be more than ready for him. This seems to be one of the next feuds for both stars, but before they can get started, they have other matches to focus on.

For the moment, though, they might have another twist to keep in mind. Behind both the stars, during their segment, was none other than Shinsuke Nakamura. He has been after the US Title for some time, and this twist appears to indicate that he will be coming back into the storyline for it.
