Dominik Mysterio confronts former United States Champion, who returned to RAW after over a year

Dominik Mysterio had an interesting confrontation backstage on the latest episode of RAW. Cathy Kelley was first interviewing the returning Apollo Crews, who made his first RAW appearance in over a year last week in the battle royal. He was then confronted by none other than Dominik.

During the former United States Champion's interview, Dominik Mysterio interrupted and told Cathy Kelley that it was Rhea Ripley's interview time and not Apollo's. It led to a verbal back-and-forth between the two.

When asked by Crews about what he was going to do about the interference, it was Rhea Ripley who told the former US Champion that her fellow Judgment Day member was going to remind him who runs Monday Night RAW.

It set up a match between the two. It is going to be interesting to see the singles return of Apollo Crews, starting with his match against Dominik.

Apollo Crews went to NXT 2.0 in June 2022 and had several rivalries, including against Grayson Waller and his former ally Commander Azeez who is now known as Dabba-Kato. His final match on the developmental brand came in a loss against Dijak. It remains to be seen how his latest main roster run will pan out.
