Dominik Mysterio to defend his championship against 25-year-old star on major WWE show

On the latest episode of NXT, it was announced that Dominik Mysterio will defend his North American Championship against Nathan Frazer.

The two stars were involved in a backstage altercation on Monday Night RAW last week after the 25-year-old star appeared on the red brand. They got into another brawl the following night, which started in the back and spewed to the ring.

On NXT this week, Nathan Frazer was involved in a news skit called Hard Hitting Home Truths, where he spoke about how the injury he suffered at Halloween Havoc last year almost ended his career, but he managed to come back faster and stronger.

He then challenged Dominik Mysterio for the coveted NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc Night 2 next week. Frazer clarified that he wasn't asking for the match but demanding it.

Thanks to Judgment Day's involvement, Mysterio defeated Trick Wiliams to recapture the title. It won't be surprising if his mami Rhea Ripley or the rest of the group interferes in the match next week to help him retain.
