Dominik Mysterio's potential new romantic storyline hinted at in Rhea Ripley's absence; confronted by Liv Morgan

Rhea Ripley is out of action following an injury, and on RAW tonight, Dominik Mysterio found himself confronted by the person responsible. There appear to be hints at a potential storyline.

Rhea Ripley had an enormous moment at WrestleMania where she was able to defend her title against Becky Lynch, but the very next RAW, she was ambushed by Liv Morgan. Morgan has been after Ripley ever since she was injured by the star. The former SmackDown Women's Champion finally took revenge.

Unfortunately, Ripley suffered a real injury in the segment with a reported AC sprain leaving her unable to compete. This forced her to vacate her title.

Morgan had said that she would take everything from Rhea Ripley, and potentially hinted at exactly that this week. She confronted Dominik Mysterio backstage and it seemed to hint that she had her eyes set on him. Ripley's on-screen relationship with Dominik has been quite public, and it seems that Morgan could be coming after that.

So far now, there's only been a potential hint and no confirmation about the same but the coming weeks should reveal more about why Morgan confronted him and whether she plans to take advantage of Ripley's absence to continue her revenge.

Dominik Mysterio is also out of action after Rhea Ripley's announcement

Dominik Mysterio is out of action at the moment thanks to an injury suffered last week. He was not part of the European tour as a result and also had to be replaced in tonight's match on RAW. He found his replacement in Santos Escobar, inviting him to take his place much to the consternation of Damian Priest and JD McDonagh.

As of now, it's not certain how serious the injury is and when he'll be able to return to action. However, if things proceed how they are, there's apparently a chance he could find himself in a non-wrestling storyline.

The future of the star's storyline with Liv Morgan is uncertain as of now.
