WWE News: Emma responds to not appearing on Raw

Emmalina did not return this week. She reveals the reason why.

Emma was supposed to re-debut as “Emmalina” on the latest edition of Raw

For over two months now, WWE have been airing video packages about “The Makeover of Emma to Emmalina” posting slides of beautiful pictures of the former NXT star. She was set to debut on the latest edition of Raw as advertised last week but did not appear.

Emma took to Twitter to answer why she didn’t appear on the latest Raw:

Emma, along with Summer Rae and Nia Jax, had tweeted their displeasure over the Sasha Banks vs Charlotte feud and it’s length. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter had confirmed that it was just part of a storyline.

It is possible that she may become involved in the storyline between Sasha Banks and Charlotte, although the feud is set to come to a conclusion this Sunday at Roadblock: End Of The Line.

Something similar to Emma’s predicament happened two months ago with Curt Hawkins, who had promos airing for weeks hyping his return. and when he was advertised for a debut, he didn’t make it.

Emma is set to join a stacked female roster on Raw, and when she does finally debut, it will be post-Sasha vs Charlotte, signalling the beginning of newer feuds.

Emma previously had her second call-up to the main roster in 2016 before Wrestlemania 32 and performed on the Kickoff Show as part of “Team BAD & Blonde” against “Team Total Divas”, where her team lost.

After Wrestlemania 32, she began a feud with Becky Lynch that even saw her reunite with Dana Brooke from NXT.

However, the storyline and pairing came to an abrupt end when Emma suffered a back injury. She said that she was cleared by the end of August, but wasn’t allowed to return just yet. She has been making appearances in house shows under her old Emma gimmick.
