Over the past few weeks, Akira Tozawa has been seen working with Alpha Academy backstage, but it was only when he accompanied the team to the ring this week on WWE RAW that it was clear that he is now a member of the group.
Alpha Academy approached Maxxine Dupri in the same way, and she has now become a fully-fledged member. Tozawa has been learning from Chad Gable over the past few weeks, and now he is joining the Academy as a member.
The former 24/7 Champion was seen initially running away from any confrontation backstage on the red brand, but now it seems that Chad Gable has given him some confidence to face his enemies.
Tozawa was seen wearing the shirt and doing the same poses as Otis and Maxxine Dupri. Even the commentators noted that he was a member of the group, even though it wasn't officially announced.
The Alpha Academy could now have a shot at teams like The Judgment Day since they officially have four members of their teams.
