Mojo Rawley signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2012, where he was signed to NXT. He spent the next few years in the black and silver brand. Shortly after he signed with the company, the Stamford-based promotion founded the Performance Center in 2013, which proved to be a breeding ground for future stars. Since NXT was taped in the Performance Center in Orlando, Mojo had to shift cities. It was during this time that he found himself with some pretty interesting company.

"Fun fact: when WWE moved us to Orlando when they opened the PC, my first Orlando roommates were Bo Dallas, Tanga Loa, and @TamaTonga01 and @Hiku_Leo. It was a fun house."
