Giovanni Vinci has commented on his loss on tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown. He lost to Apollo Crews in a singles match in what was a massive squash.
WWE had been hyping up Vinci's big return on SmackDown for quite some time ahead of tonight's episode of the blue brand. He finally made his return tonight after Ludwig Kaiser turned on him back in April.
Things didn't go as Giovanni Vinci had planned, though. As soon as the bell rang, Apollo Crews rolled him up for the three-count. Shortly after, Vinci said the following about his shocking loss:
"Don't even ask the question. I've got a question for you. When is the last time you've seen a match start without the referee checking both competitors if they're ready? Yeah, I haven't seen it either. So if Apollo wants to come up from behind, when clearly I still have half my entrance gear on, and roll me up, he wants to play that way? Alright. We can play that way. We can play that way." (H/T WrestleTalk)
