Zelina Vega has been feuding with Chelsea Green ever since the April 11 episode of SmackDown when she beat the latter via countout. Vega was able to pull off another win via pinfall the following week, earning herself a title match the following week on SmackDown, where she dethroned Green. However, Chelsea was still not done with Vega, and she got her rematch at Saturday Night's Main Event but lost.
Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Zelina was scheduled to face off against Piper Niven. Ahead of the match, she ran into Giulia backstage, who told her that she was coming after the Women's United States Championship. Given that the match was a no disqualification bout, Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre made their presence felt by attacking the Women's United States Champion. However, the Beautiful Madness showed up and took out Green and Fyre. She then attacked Piper Niven with a kendo stick, allowing Vega to put her through a table and pick up the win.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar.
