Gunther breaks character after Damian Priest picks up huge win on WWE RAW

Damian Priest has seemingly gotten inside the head of Gunther. He caused The Ring General to break character after he picked up a huge win.

Since arriving in WWE, Gunther has proven to be a dominant force in the ring. After dominating NXT for several years, he arrived on the main roster, where his rule continued.

He reigned as Intercontinental Champion for well over a year. During his historic 666-day title reign, he took on all challengers fearlessly and defeated them all. After he lost the Intercontinental Title, the Ring General pursued and captured the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam.

Since then, things have not been looking well for the Ring General. For the first time, he was hesitant to take on a challenger when he kept ducking Sami Zayn. However, he overcame Zayn, which built his confidence.

He walked into Crown Jewel confident, only to lose to Cody Rhodes. Now, the Ring General is already facing his next challenger—Priest. Tonight on the red brand, the Ring General looked out of character as he was confronted by Priest. He didn't look as confident as he normally does. Ludwig Kaiser was speaking on behalf of the Ring General, which was unusual.

Later in the night, Priest defeated Ludwig Kaiser. Following the match, the Ring General came out on the entrance ramp, but he looked worried, which was out of character for him.

It will be interesting to see if Damian Priest will be able to defeat Gunther at Survivor Series.
