A legendary wrestler and former WWE star has shared a health update, requesting help from fans. Updates about the star are not encouraging, as he has suffered quite a health crisis.
Rip Rogers is a very well known name in the wrestling world. First arriving on the scene in 1975, he spent the next three decades entertaining fans in the wrestling ring. Unfortunately, after being hit by a car at the age of 48, the star sustained bad injuries that forced him to retire from the ring. He was left unable to compete and had a permanent limp.
He not only wrestled in WWE for a short period, but is known for having trained some of the top names in wrestling and WWE, including Brock Lesnar, Batista, John Cena, Randy Orton, and Bobby Lashley, among others.
According to Pro Wrestling Stories, the star shared details of his latest health status on September 10, when he spoke about the issues with the challenges he was facing. He talked about vein issues, neuropathy, severe swelling, as well as balance problems. In a post on X/Twitter, he included pictures of his leg which didn't look good at all. The pictures were quite graphic in nature.
He also shared a post on his X/Twitter account, asking for help. He said that his health was failing and that he needed surgery as soon as possible. The goal was set for $200K, but only $4K has been reached at the time of publishing.
The exact nature of the health issues doesn't appear to be completely clear, but the struggle has apparently been ongoing for two years.
