WWE CCO Triple H recently made Nick Aldis the new General Manager of Friday Night SmackDown. Soon after taking charge of the blue show, the new GM had some harsh words for his WWE RAW counterpart, Adam Pearce.

Nick was appointed the GM of SmackDown on the October 13 episode of the show. The Game himself made the announcement. Hunter also promoted Adam Pearce and made him the General Manager of RAW. However, Pearce has been having a tough time on the flagship show, with chaos descending weekly due to brawls between The Judgment Day and the top babyfaces of the roster.

This week on The Bump, Aldis stated that Pearce may have become complacent, and the move to RAW has been difficult for him. He also stated that with WarGames approaching, things have become more difficult for the WWE Official.

"Adam, I don't wanna put words in his mouth. But I think he got a little bit comfortable. I think he's done a very very good job. I think you've seen in the last couple of weeks, the man is unhinged. He's suddenly having to deal with a lot of situations emerging. I think some of this is a result of not just the actions of the WWE Superstars leading into Survivor Series, one of our biggest nights of the year for WWE, and with WarGames, it's a very emotionally charged situation."

Aldis also suggested that Pearce may be rattled by his appointment as the General Manager of SmackDown.

"I think there's a little thing gnawing at the back of his head. This idea that there is a new face in WWE and it's competing with him for some of the oxygen in the executive level. I think the man is rattled." [From 23:10 to 24:03]

Nick Aldis has proved to be a strong figure since joining WWE

Ever since he made his way to WWE, Nick Aldis proved that he is strong enough to make decisions. His first act as SmackDown GM was to trade in Kevin Owens to replace of Jey Uso.

This past Friday, Nick Aldis also suspended Owens after he got into a physical altercation with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. He had asked KO not to get physical with anyone while on commentary, but The Prizefighter got provoked after Theory, and Waller splashed water on him and threw the bottle at fellow announcer Kevin Patrick.
