WWE Superstar IYO SKY recently earned a shot at the Women's World Title, but the company has yet to announce the showcase. It appears that the Japanese wrestler will have an opportunity to challenge Liv Morgan for the championship next month at Madison Square Garden in a non-televised match.

On the November 4, 2024, installment of Monday Night RAW, the Damage CTRL member participated in the Women’s World Title No. 1 Contenders Battle Royal. The Genius of The SKY outsmarted Natalya, Bianca Belair, Zelina Vega, and several others to win the multi-woman gimmick match held in Saudi Arabia.

WWE is gearing up to return to Madison Square Garden for its annual Live Holiday Tour on December 26, 2024. As announced on their website, The World's Most Famous Arena will host a Women's World Championship match between Liv Morgan and IYO SKY.

IYO SKY opens up about being in the WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series

For the upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, IYO SKY is set to team up with Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Bayley, and Naomi. The babyface team will collide with Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae in the Women's WarGames Match.

In an interview on NeitroV, The Genius of The SKY discussed the pressure she feels to top her previous performances, particularly her memorable trash can dive. The star also hinted at performing another impressive spot in the upcoming WarGames Match.

"I think everyone has expecations of me. Maybe I think I'll have an amazing dive. But in addition to the trash can, I also flew from the cage with a moonsault. However, the trash can dive exploded the internet. I heard a lot of people say they wanted to see it again not just once. They say it's fun no matter how many times they watch it. I feel a bit of pressure to raise the level every time. But I think I'll climb again and I won't say anymore," SKY said.

Fans will have to wait and see if the Damage CTRL member can potentially defeat Liv Morgan for the Women's World Title at the legendary MSG arena next month.
