The tag team division on RAW is heating up, with several teams trying to get a tag title shot. Last week, Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee defeated American Made to earn a number-one contender's match.
The New Day defeated the Authors of Pain during the same show, and War Raiders defeated Alpha Academy on the October 7 episode of the red brand to make it to the same match.
All three teams competed for a shot at the World Tag Team Championship tonight on RAW. LWO was in firm control of the match when Chad Gable pulled Rey Mysterio out of the ring and locked him in the ankle lock. This allowed the War Raiders to pin Kofi Kingston in the ring.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
