Owing to the realistic graphics of the game, the entry of The Fiend seemed a little too real. This led to speculation and misunderstanding about the update, causing many to think that the creative team was bringing back the beloved character. It was only a few moments later that it became clear that it was not the case.

WWE fans were apparently not the only ones that were momentarily fooled. Karrion Kross was also taken aback, leading to him posting a now deleted message on X/Twitter.
"Scarlett & I just tripped out watching that. Didn't realize it was for the game. Woke up for a long time hoping it wasn't true and he'd just walk out one night like it never happened."
The tragic passing of Bray Wyatt still hangs heavy in the WWE Universe, despite the incident happening more than a year ago. Bray's brother, Bo Dallas, continues his legacy with The Wyatt Sicks, making sure that fans remember the creative genius of the Fiend.
