On a recent episode of MSL and Sullivan, former WCW booker Kevin Sullivan talked about Hulk Hogan and explained to his co-host Mister Saint Laurent as to why Hogan was a bad influence on the WWE and why WWE should refrain from bringing him back for WrestleMania 33.
Sullivan explained that he had known Hogan for a long time, and in all those years, the Hulkster had been reckless with his usage of the n-word. Sullivan said:
“Here’s the thing, and I don’t give a sh*t what Hulk says, I know Hulk. I knew him when he was a guitar player at the Rocket Lounge in Tampa. I know this guy. This wasn’t a one time only, using the n-word.
He said it to me a couple of times about who I was hanging out with back in the day. If they do bring him back, I think somebody is going to bring it up and say that wasn’t the only time he used it, come on.”
Sullivan was of the view that bringing back Hulk Hogan into the mix would spell bad business for the company.

Given Hulk’s recent reputation and his comments on a tape released by Gawker, Sullivan may be right. Sullivan also pointed out the fact that Linda McMahon would soon go on to become a part of the Trump government and her role as Administrator of the Small Business Association might transpire into something bigger in future.
Sullivan said that with so much at stake, WWE would be better off staying away from Hulk Hogan for the time being.
“They’re a publicly traded company and Mrs. McMahon is now appointed by the president elect to the Small Business Administration.
This is a chance for her to move up in the Republican Party and certainly they don’t want to offend the black vote in this country because believe it or not, Trump got more than they thought, the percentage of black voters.
I think it would hurt her and Vince being the great family man that he is, he isn’t going to take a chance for another mistake with Hulk right now.”
