WWE producer Shane (Hurricane) Helms addressed whether The Rock has taken other superstars' spots upon his return.

The Final Boss made his comeback earlier this year as a babyface to tease squaring off against his cousin, Roman Reigns. However, he turned heel and joined The Bloodline after fans' backlash over him seemingly taking Cody Rhodes' spot in the main event of WrestleMania XL.

Instead of fighting his cousin, The Rock teamed up with The Tribal Chief to defeat The American Nightmare and Seth Rollins on Night One of this year's Show of Shows.

In an interview with the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, Helms addressed whether any WWE Superstar should feel that The Rock has taken their spot. The WWE producer stated that The Final Boss is on another level from other stars and has his spot reserved for whenever he decides to show up and everyone must learn to accept it.

"Well, first of all, The Rock ain't taking nobody's spot. The Rock's spot is solidified. If he wants to show up, that's his spot. That's just how it's gonna be and people have to recognize that. That's the same in any form of entertainment. You go to a comedy club. If Dave Chappelle shows up, somebody might get bumped. That's just how it's gonna be. That's just how it is," he said.

Helms added:

"When you got the level, you know, stars have gravity. That's why they're stars. Nice little metaphor there. And when you got the kinda gravity that The Rock has, that's gonna bring in these outside eyes and attention that he brings in, man. That's just part of the game and you gotta learn to accept that." Triple H commented on the impact of The Rock's WWE return

In addition to being a legend in the wrestling business, The Rock is now one of the biggest Hollywood stars. In a recent interview with Sports Business Journal, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H addressed the impact of The Final Boss' recent return to the company.

The Game pointed out how massive a star The Rock is and that WWE has only benefitted from The Final Boss' presence, resources, brainpower, creativity, and branding. He also said it was great to have him back at the promotion and actively involved with the storylines.

"I can only imagine what's next for The Rock. He's got his hands in just about everything. We were thrilled to have The Rock being involved. When you can have the biggest star on the globe, arguably, want to be a part of what we do and in a meaningful way, and want to do it in a way where he's just like, 'Hey, I'll come in, tell me what to do and I'll go do this'. All of his resources. All of his brainpower, all of his creativity, all of those things. His branding, everything. I want to invest in this and make it this amazing ride for our fans. It doesn't get any better than that," he said. [H/T: WrestleZone]

Although The Rock is now on a break from WWE television to film a new movie, Triple H confirmed that The Final Boss will return to WWE. Before going on a hiatus, The People's Champ promised to go after Cody Rhodes upon his comeback.

It would be interesting to see if he will clash with The American Nightmare later this year for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
