Major Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens feud not main cause for former WWE champion getting "a lot of opportunities;" reveals biggest reason

A former WWE champion recently shared the reason why he got a lot of opportunities early in his career on the main roster. Grayson Waller credited being in a tag team with Austin Theory. The Aussie Icon stated that it allowed him to be involved with big stars such as Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.

In an appearance on the Casual Conversations with The Classic, Waller opened up about being in a tag team with Theory. He thought that they would not have had the same level of success if they were working as individual WWE Superstars.

"When you get into a tag team, I think we've had a lot of opportunities that we might not have had if we were both doing singles. At the same time, we've been in there with Cody, Randy, Kevin all that multiple times. We've won the Tag Team Championships, we've been on big shows, and I think it's the advantage of us being a team and us being so driven and working hard together that has given us those opportunities," Waller said. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory were used to further the early parts of the storyline involving Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Waller looked at it as a great opportunity since he and Theory would likely have not been given the chance if they weren't A-Town Down Under.

Rhodes and Owens are set to clash at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14 for the Undisputed WWE Championship. It will be interesting to see if Orton gets cleared in time to possibly get his revenge on KO, who put him out with Piledriver earlier this month.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Grayson Waller was asked which star from the past or present he would like to have on "The Grayson Waller Effect." The Moment Maker stated that he wanted former WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus to join him soon and continued to campaign for it.
