Logan Paul on WWE fans targeting him after the recent wave of releases
The Maverick is one of the most controversial figures in World Wrestling Entertainment. Many fans don't like him at all and want him gone from the company. When the Stamford-based promotion released several stars last month, many fans were upset about Paul still being employed. Here's how he responded to those fans on his IMPAULSIVE podcast:
"Hey, some people are mad. Some people are mad I didn’t get fired in this last round of WWE releases. They let a lot of people go. Not your boy. So they were mad about that. Dude, the way I see it, you can’t let go a future World Heavyweight Champion. That would just be ridiculous." [H/T TJR Wrestling]
Paul is one of the most recognized faces in entertainment and sports. He has built a massive fan following over the years, attracting thousands of views every time he appears on TV to cut a promo or wrestle a match. He will likely be a mainstay on RAW or SmackDown for a long time to come.
