SmackDown Women
SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley

During this week's episode of RAW, Rhea Ripley's Night of Champions opponent, Natalya, posted an emotional message on Twitter.

Natalya was recently drafted to RAW after a remarkable stint on SmackDown. In her latest Twitter post, the veteran detailed how she initially did not believe in herself, but now she is looking forward to her run on the red brand.

Here is what Natalya had to say:

"Just want to get something off my chest that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. Just from the first moment that I got drafted to RAW until now, I was so excited for a fresh start, and when I went out to save Dana, maybe Rhea was right. Maybe I was trying to save myself."

Natalya added that it's hard to see the comments on Twitter and how some people believe she is not on Ripley's level. The Queen of Harts mentioned that she has never been a favorite heading into a bout but is willing to prove herself.

At the end of the video, the Canadian star noted that Ripley could mock or beat her up, but at Night of Champions, she would respect her.

Natalya will face Rhea Ripley at Night of Champions in a high-profile match

Rhea Ripley and Natalya will lock horns for the SmackDown Women's Championship on May 27 in Saudi Arabia. On the latest RAW episode, Ripley promised to beat her opponent at the Night of Champions 2023 convincingly.

The Nightmare added that she would make Natalya regret being drafted to RAW and even threatened to end the former champion's career.

Natalya seems focused on giving her best against Ripley on Saturday. It would be interesting to see how her plans pan out.
