Michael Cole has moved to the WWE Friday Night SmackDown commentary team. He has been the voice of the business for decades. Fans still enjoy his reactions and commentary on shows, and he is known for his crisp and energetic work on the mic. However, during a recent episode of the blue brand, he was caught making a slip-up while talking about Kevin Owens.

This week on SmackDown, the Women’s Tag Team Championship was on the line, with the challengers Lash Legend and Jakarta Jackson making their way out. Despite being suspended, The Prizefighter hijacked the segment.

Kevin Owens entered the ring to address his POV, but before he could say anything, his mic was cut. He snatched Corey Graves's microphone and said it wasn’t him who turned on Cody Rhodes, but it was The American Nightmare who turned on him. We even saw the Prizefighter turn his back on Randy Orton in a shocking turn of events.

A clip of Michael Cole's slip-up of Kevin Owens's name has gone viral on X. Cole accidentally referred to the former Universal Champion as Kevin Dunn, a former senior WWE employee. However, the veteran voice of SmackDown fixed his mistakes seconds after it happened.

Michael Cole furious after former champion falls on him during SmackDown

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defended their titles against Lash Legend and Jakarta Jackson on the latest episode of SmackDown. Former Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were ringside to watch the match.

However, it was an unfortunate night for Chelsea Green, who got kicked onto the announcer's table and slipped onto Michael Cole. Since she lost her dumpster match, everyone who comes in contact with Green tells her she stinks, even though she has taken multiple baths.

Cole kept the tradition of humiliating Chelsea Green alive. When Green fell on him, he said he might vomit and requested that she get off immediately. Even after Green left, Michael Cole continued to complain, stating, “Oh my goodness, I'm going to get sick. Disgusting.”

It remains to be seen where this new character for Chelsea Green will take her and how long it will continue.
