Naomi is the Ms. Money in the Bank 2025, taking one step further to fulfill the potential many believe she has as a legitimate Women's World Champion. She unexpectedly made Bloodline history at the PLE tonight.
Naomi had to go through a stacked battlefield in what many considered the most depth in any Women's MITB Ladder Match since 2017. The field included veterans like Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss, world-traveled established stars like Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia, as well as Roxanne Perez, who was arguably the star of the match.
By winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, Naomi made unexpected history by becoming the first real-life Bloodline member (Anoa'i family) to achieve this feat.
It might come as a surprise that superstars like Otis have won the MITB briefcase while not a single member of the Anoa'i family has done so. It should be noted that the reason for this is simply that there haven't been many family members who have competed for the prized briefcase.
For example, The Rock, Roman Reigns, and The Usos have never been close, while it was something that was introduced as Rikishi's career came to a close. Umaga, too, never competed for the briefcase when it was an annual WrestleMania match.
The Women's MITB winner's association with The Bloodline is by marriage, but she has done brilliantly as she now appears to be in the prime of her wrestling career.
