Last Sunday at the Roadblock PPV, The New Day lost their Tag Team Championships to Sheamus and Cesaro. This victory symbolises a historic feat in the WWE because it ended the record 483-day tag team title reign of The New Day.
With this victory, Sheamus and Cesaro are all set to champion the RAW Tag Team division in the coming days. Today on RAW, GM Mick Foley called the new champs into his office and gave them their Christmas gifts, the brand new RAW exclusive Tag Team Titles.
The titles were designed on similar lines to the SmackDown Live Tag titles.
The customization was done in the colour of the belt and the same plates were retained. The red colour on the belt area is indicative of the fact that the titles belong to the RAW brand. The expectation is that the new titles will mark the beginning of a new era in the RAW tag team division.

Two physically gifted wrestlers coming together and representing the Tag Team division will be a huge boost to the RAW brand. There is every reason to expect some fierce competition in the division given the presence of teams such as The New Day, Anderson/Gallows and Enzo/Cass in the division.

It is also interesting to watch this duo in action given their troubled co-existence. This reminds us of the tag team combination of Kane and Daniel Bryan from a couple of years ago.
Cesaro also posted a Tweet after tonight’s Raw, where he was pictured with his partner Cesaro, holding the new Raw Tag Team titles:
