Tegan Nox is one of the three wrestlers World Wrestling Entertainment released a few weeks ago. She was the only person out of the lot who was not used on television for the better part of this year. Nox was expected to work indie promotion Attack Wrestling's December Under the Mistletour shows. However, they have announced that she has been removed.

This is on account of Tegan Nox's 90-day “non-compete” clause. Attack Wrestling has also expressed gratitude to WWE for attempting to make the appearance possible. Taking to Instagram, Nox reacted to the announcement:

Tegan Nox worked for World Wrestling Entertainment from 2017 to 2021 and then from 2022 to 2024. It remains to be seen if the company will re-sign her down the line.

Tegan Nox credits WWE's Rhea Ripley for helping her during an injury

Tegan Nox recounted an injury during her first run in WWE. It was Rhea Ripley who apparently helped her out during this time.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the Welsh wrestler revealed that she picked up a ‘freak accident’ related injury in the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament in NXT. Nox noted that her knee "just exploded," and she was supposed to go far in the tourney before the untimely injury occurred. She then got to Ripley, who supported her while her emotional state was at a low:

"Rhea [Ripley] would always come over to my house. She’d bring the dog over, because, at the time, I didn’t have a dog, and we’d just hang out. She did go hard on the internet, and I was all for it at one point. But then there was one point where I really dipped into, like, mental health issues and stuff, and as soon as I said that, she just, she stopped. That shows the type of person that Rhea is." Rhea Ripley herself was injured for a prolonged period of time this year and is now in the same position again.
