The newly signed star Jade Cargill was spotted at SmackDown backstage with current WWE Superstar
The name in question is Chelsea Green, who is one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champion with Piper Niven. On the July 17, 2023, episode of RAW, the 32-year-old star teamed up with Sonya Deville and defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the tag team titles.
However, Deville suffered an ACL injury and has been out of in-ring action ever since, which paved the way for Piper Niven to be Green's new partner.
The former AEW TBS Champion signed a multi-year contract with the Stamford-based promotion on September 26th. Ever since Cargill joined WWE, she has yet to make her in-ring debut.
However, the 31-year-old female star has made her backstage on-screen television appearances on NXT, SmackDown, and Fastlane.
On this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill and Chelsea Green met each other backstage. The women were spotted together as stylist IAN MAXION did their hair and makeup for the blue show.

Jade Cargill's first feud in WWE teased on SmackDown
The former AEW star's first feud with a female superstar was teased on the latest episode of SmackDown in a backstage segment.
On SmackDown, Charlotte Flair had a word with the new SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis. Aldis told The Queen that she would challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Championship next week.
Just when Flair was about to leave, she met Cargill. The 14-time Women's World Champion shared that it was a pleasure to see the former AEW star. When Jade Cargill replied to Charlotte Flair with the same response, the latter responded by saying, "Oh, it will be!"
