Randy Orton sends a subtle message to his wife live on-air during WWE show

This week’s episode of WWE NXT featured Randy Orton in its main event match. The Viper was scheduled to face the rising developmental talent Je’Von Evans on his home turf of St. Louis. Notably, while The Viper won the match in style, he also managed to send a subtle message to his wife on live TV following his win.

The Apex Predator looked sharp in his match-up against The Young OG. The SmackDown star had already received some advice backstage from NXT Tag Team Champs Fraxiom regarding Evans’ fighting style. Using the data scouted, Randy Orton managed to nullify several of his opponent’s high-flying moves.

In the final moments of the match, The Young OG got caught in a vicious RKO and was pinned by The Viper. As he climbed the ropes in the corner to deliver his signature pose, he was seen making eye contact and nodding at his wife Kim Orton. Moreover, The Apex Predator made the night for the losing star and fans even more wholesome as he checked up on Evans after the match and raised his hand.

Although Je’Von Evans failed to beat Randy Orton, the youngster received a lot of acclaim for putting up a great match against him. Moreover, NXT General Manager Ava acknowledged his performance and even put him in a Triple-Threat Number One Contender’s match for the NXT Championship next week.

The Young OG will be facing Wes Lee and Ethan Page to earn a title match against Trick Williams. It would be interesting to see if he is able to utilize his experience with Orton to score a huge win and potentially become the next NXT Champion.
