Randy Orton does the unthinkable on WWE SmackDown in major twist after Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed appear

Randy Orton decided to do the unthinkable in a major twist after Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed appeared during his match on WWE SmackDown. The two stars showed up in the middle of the proceedings.

Randy Orton squared off against Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, and Aleister Black tonight on WWE SmackDown. It was the biggest match for his return as he got a chance to get right back into the WWE title picture.

Orton concentrated on each star at different parts of the match, destroying Aleister Black against a table on the outside. This left LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes in the ring fighting it out to get the big chance to win the match. Melo and Black spent more of the match fighting each other soon after, with there being almost two separate bouts within the Fatal Four-Way.

LA Knight and Randy Orton were definitely not strangers to each other, having faced each other several times recently as they battled for the US title. In the end, though, it was the appearance of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker that decided the proceedings. They attacked LA Knight, who had been about to win. Reed stopped him, and Breakker speared him. Carmelo Hayes was about to put him away, but Randy Orton hit him with an RKO in midair.

In a major twist, despite being the babyface, Orton took advantage of the attack by the heels. His RKO on Hayes was also on top of the already-hurt Knight. This allowed him to then pin Knight and step into the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament.
