Former WWE star Afa Anoa'i Jr., known to fans as Manu, has become the new owner of World Xtreme Wrestling.

In 1998, Anoa'i began his wrestling career in his family's wrestling promotion, WXW, before later signing with WWE in 2006. However, his time with the company was relatively short-lived as he was released less than three years later. Since then, he has been wrestling on the independent circuit.

During a recent Battlefield Pro Wrestling show, Manu made the announcement that he has assumed control of his father's company, WXW Wrestling. He revealed plans to expand WXW's reach by bringing it to cable television in Pennsylvania.

Rikishi talks about potentially returing to WWE

The Bloodline storyline has captivated audiences for four years now, consistently delivering some of the most compelling wrestling television in recent memory. The addition of new members from the Anoai family to this dominant faction infuses the dynamic with freshness and intrigue, keeping fans engaged and eager to see what unfolds next.

Many fans have expressed their desire to see the legendary Rikishi get involved in The Bloodline storyline. However, Rikishi recently addressed this, stating that for his involvement to happen, it needs to make sense within the storyline. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of being physically prepared, as he hasn't been in the ring for 25 years. Rikishi highlighted the need to be in top shape mentally and physically if the storyline demands his presence.

"It would have to make sense for the fans. It's gotta be that moment for the fans to make sense for me to be able to come back, and I would have to [prepare]. I ain't been in a ring in 25 years, right? So, even though I'll probably may be put in a position just to be kinda like a Wiseman for the opposite side, I gotta be in tip-top shape in my mind," Rikishi said.
