Sasha Banks was on Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast two days before Hell In A Cell, and she spoke about many things, such as the difference that the last year had made (she was last on Sam’s podcast over a year ago back when she was still in NXT), her experiences so far etc.
Among them were her experiences meeting two legends, one of whom is a Hall Of Famer. She spoke about meeting the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels, and he told her that she was his favourite wrestler.
"Shawn Michaels was backstage and he talked to me. I was like, 'oh, this is so cool.' He was like, 'dude, you're my favourite wrestler.' I was like, 'what the? You said that to me, Shawn Michaels?'"
She spoke about how she wasn’t the biggest fan of Goldberg growing up, but she met him when he returned, and he went out of his way to meet him, and she revealed something “she didn’t see”:
"Seeing him backstage, he was so nice and he came up to me and said 'hi' and I was like, 'wait, you're saying 'hi' to me? Oh my god!
You're Goldberg!' And right before he went out, he looked at me and Bayley and was like, 'you didn't see this'. He headbanged the door just to get himself psyched and ready. Like, that is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life!"
She said that she had gone to the Performance Center in Orlando to prepare for her match against Charlotte at Hell In A Cell, and said that Kalisto and coach Scotty 2 Hotty helped her come up with some ideas. She said that she loves being around the ring because once she's in it things just flow for her.
She referred to the ring as her home. She had a lot of praises for Scotty helping her out and said that he suggested her ideas which she needed, primarily because she had never used tables or chairs before, but these were options that she could and did use at Hell In A Cell.

She went on to main event Hell In A Cell with Charlotte, making it the first time women have main evented a Pay-Per-View. However, Sasha is no stranger to making history.
She and Bayley main evented NXT Takeover: Respect in a 30-minute Iron Man match, it was the first time women main evented a WWE special, and was also the first time women were involved in an Iron Man match. Sasha, in a recent interview in Scotland, said that her next goal was to main event Wrestlemania, ”somehow”.
Universal Champion Kevin Owens, who was also with her in the interview, said that he believed the next step would be to have women main event house show circuits, similar to how there are different main events in the house show circuits.
For example, sometimes the main events of the house show circuit are Roman Reigns vs Rusev, and sometimes it is Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins.
