WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and the late great Scott Hall were longtime rivals and close friends. The wrestling legends knew each other well, in and out of the ring, and now Michaels has made an interesting observation on how a fan-favorite WWE Superstar is like the legendary Razor Ramon.

The Bad Guy and The Showstopper were members of the infamous Kliq in World Wrestling Entertainment. They also tore the house down in numerous matches, including the WrestleMania X Ladder Match that saw Razor retain the Intercontinental Championship in 19 minutes. These days Michaels works as WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative and oversees NXT, working closely with rising stars like Trick Williams. The 40-year veteran issued a major statement on Williams just this week.

Michaels recently spoke with Sports Illustrated and was asked if he's had the six-foot-four-inch Williams watch footage of the six-foot-seven-inch Hall, a legendary big man who evolved the sport by performing a lot different than his size would have indicated.

"It’s interesting–Scott was a big guy who never worked big. Just last week I said, ‘Trick, you’re just so deceptively big and tall. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have to slam you.’ It’s like having to slam a 10-foot ladder. He’s like 245 and well over 6-foot-3-inches. So the Scott analogy, it’s something we’ll talk about," Shawn Michaels said.

The Heartbreak Kid continued and revealed how The Bad Guy and The Anointed One are alike.

"That’s the first time I’ve heard that, a connection between the two. Thinking about it, that’s what was so awesome about working with Scott. He’d have no problem shooting off and taking a tackle from me. Trick’s the same way. You forget how big he is," Shawn Michaels said.

Scott Hall passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 63. His last singles match against Michaels was the legendary SummerSlam 1995 Ladder Match, which saw Michaels retain the Intercontinental Championship in 25 minutes.
