This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw Shawn Spears hatching a nefarious plan backstage. Spears was spotted with a 22-year-old star, making him create a fake scenario and deliver a fake confession. The man in question is Brooks Jensen. The star seems to be in cahoots with Spears for something serious.
Brooks Jensen has been a walking ball of fire on WWE NXT. The star has been causing both intentional as well as collateral damage by launching himself on fellow wrestlers. Notably, he was fired for his actions a few weeks ago as well. However, Mr. Stone vouched for him and convinced NXT General Manager Ava to bring him back. But, Jensen injured Je'Von Evans not long after.
Recently, Jensen was seen making a video seemingly thanking Mr. Stone for his actions. But, it was later revealed that the unhinged star was acting on Shawn Spears' instructions.

Shawn Spears had previously lent Brooks Jensen a helping hand in a No-Disqualification Match against Josh Briggs. Now, he seems to be taking on a bigger objective by targeting a figure in the NXT management. This suggests that the two stars could soon form a new faction and set some big plans in motion.
Two WWE stars catch Shawn Spears in the act
While Shawn Spears was filming the video for Brooks Jensen, he was caught in the act by Malik Blade and Edris Enofe. The duo couldn’t believe what they saw and were surprised to see Jensen being puppeteered by Spears. This got both WWE stars concerned for the 22-year-old.
Last month, Shawn Spears competed for the NXT Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Match at NXT Heatwave in a losing effort as Ethan Page picked up the win. Following that, Spears lost another opportunity to challenge for the gold to Joe Hendry. As a result, the TNA star has now been chosen to fight in a Number One Contender Match next week against Wes Lee and Pete Dunne.
Hence, it is possible that Spears may try to insert himself into the match once again as he did during NXT Heatwave. However, he will have Brooks Jensen by his side this time around. It would be interesting to see what big plans the veteran star has up his sleeve.
