Sheamus hilariously reacts to two-time WWE champion's outrageous demand for a "thank you"

Nearly two weeks ago, Sheamus had one of the best matches of his career against Gunther. During his enthralling encounter with The Ring General in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament, there was a point in the match when The Celtic Warrior looked like the favorite to win. However, an unsuspecting attack from Gunther's lackey, Ludwig Kaiser, left the Irish superstar with an injured leg, eventually leading to his defeat.

This action led to an interesting statement from Ludwig Kaiser during a recent episode of RAW. The Imperium member claimed that Sheamus was delusional if he even thought he could beat Gunther, adding that the Irish star should be grateful that he didn't embarrass himself any further.

And recently, adding insult to injury, Kaiser took to X, where he echoed the same sentiment and demanded that the 12-time WWE champion should issue him a "thank you" note.

Well, Sheamus has now responded to Ludwig Kaiser with a cheeky post. On top of claiming that Kaiser finally grew some balls, he suggested that the former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion was "Goonther's little Ken Doll!" Additionally, the 46-year-old called out the German superstar for freaking out before sarcastically thanking him.

Kaiser may have got what he demanded from Sheamus, but it's safe to say he won't be too pleased about the words that came before it.

Sheamus has made it clear that he has no plans of facing Gunther ever again

The former WWE Champion may be embroiled in a war of words with Ludwig Kaiser, but one superstar he has no plans of stepping into the ring with again is Gunther. The Celtic Warrior gave it his all against The Ring General in the first round of The King of the Ring tournament but failed to claim an elusive win over his bitter rival.

The duo have locked horns three times in a singles match, with The Ring General coming out on top in each instance. Following his defeat, the former WWE Champion took to X to inform fans that there would be no part four in his storied rivalry with Gunther.

Meanwhile, Gunther will square off against Main Event Jey Uso in the semi-final of the King of the Ring tournament on WWE RAW next week. It will be interesting to see if the Irish star makes his presence felt during the encounter.
