Due to Jade Cargill's injury, Bianca Belair's tag team run has been in jeopardy. However, she has found a new partner to compete in an upcoming title match.

Naomi has been trying hard to become champion since her arrival on WWE SmackDown. She has competed for the WWE Women's Championship and has come up short each time. However, she has always stood by her friends' side, and that's what she did tonight.
Tonight on SmackDown, Nick Aldis informed Bianca Belair that she would have to relinquish her tag team titles since Jade Cargill has been out of action due to a backstage assault. However, Naomi stepped in and volunteered to be her partner. Hence, Aldis announced they would have to defend the Women's Tag Team Championship the following week. It was later revealed that they would defend the titles against Candice LeRae and Nia Jax.

Next week's episode of SmackDown has been pretaped tonight. Belair and Naomi defended the titles against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. In the end, the tag champs managed to retain their titles.
It will be interesting to see who will be next in line to challenge for the Women's Tag Team Championship.
