WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long was full of praise for all of the women in the World Wrestling Entertainment and the work they put in but admitted that there's one major issue that he has spotted across the board
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked Teddy Long and wrestling legend Bill Apter about their opinions of the Women's WarGames match. Apter praised Rhea Ripley for her mean streak upon her stunning return to RAW and predicted that her team would win their match at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Teddy Long admitted that he felt the women in WWE could do better in their promos. He said that it wasn't a criticism but an issue he noticed throughout the division. The former SmackDown General Manager also mentioned what Vince McMahon taught him about the hard cam and feels many superstars in World Wrestling Entertainment don't follow this:

"I think Rhea's team is going to win. I have to mention too - I've been watching the show weekly and the girls, golly, they work their butts off. They really do. They put everything they got into it. But the promos are not good to me. I'm not criticizing them, I know about promos and know they could be better. [...] The way Vince [McMahon] taught me was never to play to the camera. Let the camera find me. I always understood that. When the hard camera came I would get out of the way. I knew not to run into the hard camera. Who is Teddy Long choosing for the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series?
As we mentioned, Bill Apter chose team Rhea Ripley for the WarGames match. The episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine aired before the 22nd November episode of SmackDown, in which Jade Cargill was eliminated.
The statement issued by WWE regarding her injury essentially confirms that she will miss Survivor Series: WarGames and will also likely be removed from the Women's United States Championship tournament. There are even questions as to whether the Women's Tag Team Title will be vacated.
Teddy Long predicted that Rhea Ripley's team would win the Women's War Games match as well, with host Mac Davis questioning why he wasn't supporting one of his favorites, Nia Jax.
As you probably know, the WWE Women's Champion is on the opposing end at Survivor Series, teaming up with Tiffany Stratton, Candice LeRae, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez.
